"It was both and honor and a pleasure to meet you in Morocco at the Marathon of Sand in the spring of 2008. One of my most memorable experiences in the race was having the opportunity to run with you on both days; four and five, as you help me push to limits that I never knew I had. You have been someone that has inspired and motivated me over the years and meeting you has been a highlight. You are one of the modest, classiest and strongest woman that I have ever met.
